1. TEACHING IN CHINA
Job DescriptionCertified candidates will teach English at different levels depending on their abilities at either public or private schools or colleges:
- Public Colleges and Universities – May require teachers with degrees in Master, PhD and more experience in teaching.
- Public Primary & Secondary Schools - With different but unified settings, curricula, and class sizes, once a contract is signed, teachers are under government regulations for primary and secondary school. Hiring standards are similar but vary among schools.
- Private Schools Teaching English (K-12) - Owned by private companies or individuals, they provide positions according to subjects with contracts. Hiring standards also vary based on teaching subjects, and teachers with teaching credentials and experience are better recognized.
- International Schools (K-12) - Designed for foreign diplomats, employees of corporations, and wealthy families living in China to provide a unique environment for their children. Teaching qualities are the essence to schools' reputation but flexible as long as candidates demonstrate strong abilities in teaching.
Job Requirements
- Age 21 or above
- English is native language
- Bachelor's degree in any major
- Completion of teaching training program and certified in China
- Interested in Chinese culture
Certification through training program
The certification is authorized by the Department of Cultural and Educational Experts (China), it grants outstanding recognitions for those who are qualified for teaching at both public and private schools, colleges, and government training facilities in various places in China.
Training courses are designed using international standards, their purposes are to help candidates:
* Effectively teaching English as a foreign language in China
* Better enjoying diversified environment and culture differences
* Understanding and working with the Chinese education systems
* Discovering unique teaching styles according to Chinese students' learning paths

2. STUDY ABROAD

3. EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
International Studies, internships, and works for college faculty are all under compliances with the regulations and program designations set forth by Californian Abroad Fairs.Note: This program is not available now, please contact us via email for more information.
4. WORKING IN CHINA
This program is different from our "Teaching in China" program, but is typically for those whose are graduated and have worked for few years, especially those who have research subjects yet looking for financial funding and administration supports in order to achieve their career goals and scientific research successes.Please contact UCAC for more details as to how you can be the candidates for your research and development goals.
Note: This program is coming soon for graduates with master degrees or above in certain study areas such as bio-tech, chemistry, civil engineering, computer science, project developments, researches in above areas, etc. Applicants who are international students from China, Taiwan, Hongkong, and other places where official language is Chinese are greatly welcome and encouraged. 5. SUMMER INTERNSHIPS
Our summer internship programs are mainly for students with majors in English, Teaching, Language Researches, Asian Cultures and Studies, and those who have already earned teaching credentials or certificates with TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) programs.The procedures for application and acceptance are similar to our "Teaching in China" program but with a much shorter period and is only available in summers.
Deadline for applying for Summer Internships is posted on application form. We will begin our recruitment for summer interns in year of 2014. More information will be updated on this page at our website.
